Ralph Breaks the Internet
Synopsis
The UK DVD release of the 2018 Disney animated feature Ralph Breaks the Internet – a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph. Continuing the story of Ralph and Vanellope, the cabinet to Vanellope’s game Sugar Rush breaks and the only replacement part for the cabinet is too expensive to source, meaning the arcade owner plans to decommission the game. Ralph and Vanellope journey into the internet to source the replacement part themselves and cause a sizeable amount of havoc on the way. While the film continues to feature various video game cameos and references to game characters, the focus is largely put onto internet companies and brands. Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr. Eggman return in cameo roles and a Virtua Cop cabinet is seen in the arcade.
