A line of Sonic the Hedgehog-themed mystery discs that include a disc launcher in every packet. These were produced by Forever Clever in 2024. Each packet contains 2 mystery discs and a disc launcher, with a total of 12 mystery discs to collect. The discs and launcher are sold in blind-bag packaging so you don’t know which discs you will get before the packaging is opened.

SEGA Official Crew Card Holder

A vinyl card holder with “SEGA Official Crew” printed on the front. This logo features the SEGA Pirate from the early 1990s SEGA TV advertising campaign produced by SEGA Europe.

SEGA Park Button Badge

A button badge from one the UK’s SEGA Park venues that dates to around 1997. Sonic the Hedgehog is featured alongside the SEGA Park logo. SEGA Park venues operated in the UK from around 1996 to 2013 and were largely just SEGA-themed arcades. Thank you to Mark Hughes for providing this scan.

Official SEGA of Europe merchandise. I was given this SEGA emblazoned record bag at a press event for the Sonic Spinball ride at Alton Towers. It contained a variety of different items related to the day.

SEGA Super Play Trading Cards

A series of collectible trading cards produced by Panini in 1992. Cards are available in both landscape and portrait orientations and feature various Mega Drive, Master System and Game Gear games. Each card is based on a single game, with one side featuring a brief description of the game and the other side featuring tips for playing said game.

Segaworld Fridge Magnet

A Segaworld fridge magnet sold in the gift shop of the London, UK Segaworld venue that operated from the Trocadero near Picadilly Circus from 1996 to 2000. It features the Segaworld logo and artwork of Sonic the Hedgehog.

A Sonic Boom branded canvas bag. We obtained two of these bags from various SEGA-hosted events; one from the Sonicfest 2014 event at the SEGA Joypolis on Odaiba Island and one from the Sonic Boom 2014 event in New York.

A 1992 set of spinning tops made by Tomy. The 2 spinning tops are modeled on Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr. Robotnik. They spinning tops are loaded into the launchers, wound-up and then fired into the top of the case to allow them to “battle”.

SEGA the Hedgehog 2 Barcode Battler Cards

A series of fully licensed Barcode Battler cards made to be used in conjunction with Epoch’s Barcode Battler handheld game system. The cards are swiped through the Barcode Battler’s card reader to activate them as warriors in-game. The warrior’s stats are printed on the reverse of the card.
