Synopsis
The UK DVD release of Captain America: The First Avenger. This entry in the Marvel Cinamatic Universe charts the origin story of Steve Rogers who undergoes an experimental “super soldier” procedure that enhances him physically and cures him of the ailments that were blocking him from joining the army to assist in the 1942 war effort. Initially used by the army as a promotional figure called Captain America, Rogers learns that his friend Bucky and his team have gone missing during a battle with The Red Skull and his forces. Rogers puts together his own crew to rescue the MIA team and take down The Red Skull and Hydra. While SEGA had nothing to do with the feature itself, they did produce the tie-in video game Captain America: Super Soldier. A 2 minute cinematic trailer for the game is included in the special features of this DVD.
