Western Release for Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash! Confirmed | Video Spotlight

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the HD virtual reality remake of Space Channel 5, but the Playstation channel has revealed an English language version of the previously released trailer for Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash!, confirming its Western release:

This new version of the game has been developed by Grounding Inc and features a new chapter where you play as twin sisters Lou and Kee. There is currently no word on a release date, but the title is PS VR exclusive.

Unreleased 32X Port of Pinocchio Discovered | YouTube Channel

A recently discovered 1995 prototype of Pinocchio for the 32X has been discovered. Dumped by Radar and released by drx, this 32X version of the game features a wider colour palette and some additional layers of parallax scrolling backgrounds. You can see the game in action via our video below, where we also compare it to the eventual 1996 Mega Drive release:

New Team Sonic Racing Characters Revealed Alongside First Gameplay Footage

Weekly Famitsu have revealed that both E-123 Omega and Rouge the Bat will be playable characters in Team Sonic Racing. Ben Huskins and Mark Webley from Two Point have revealed the first in-game footage of Two Point Hospital; the new hospital management sim from this new studio that features ex-Bullfrog staff – the developers of the original Theme Hospital. Two Point Hospital is due for release on PC later this year and will be the first title from the newly formed Two Point studio.

Border Break Finally Getting a PS4 Port in 2018

Almost 9 years after its initial release in arcades, AM2’s mech action game, Border Break is finally getting a home console port for the PS4.

Border Break first released for SEGA’s RingEdge arcade board in 2009 and despite receiving many reiterations, has stayed arcade exclusive until now. While there is no firm release date at the moment, SEGA Japan are promising a release at some point in 2018. There is currently no word on a wider release for US and European markets.

Earliest Sonic R Prototype Discovered

The track featured in this prototype wouldn’t make it into the final game and there’s a lot of artwork and assets on show that have never been seen before.
