We have a very special something for you today! Thanks to our good friend Dr. Scottnik from Nintendo Lounge, you can now get an exclusive look at what went down on the show floor at SEGA Fes 2019. The event ran from March 30th to the 31st 2019 in Tokyo and was quite a historical moment for every SEGA division worldwide as every game announcement at the event was revealed to be releasing worldwide and not just in Japan.

Segata Sanshiro to be Playable in Project X Zone 2

Project X Zone 2 will feature Segata Sanshiro in his first playable outing since Segata Sanshirō Shinken Yūgi for the Saturn in 1998. Segata Sanshiro originally featured in a run of popular Japanese advertisements for the SEGA Saturn.

Sanshiro will be a solo unit in the crossover strategy RPG which also features characters from Capcom and Namco Bandai franchises. He joins a cast of SEGA characters that include Akira and Kage-Maru from Virtua Fighter, Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima from Yakuza as well as Hotsuma from Shinobi.

Project X Zone 2 is being developed by Monolith Soft and will be released by Namco Bandai in Spring 2016 for the 3DS.

Segata Sanshiro Merch Now Available Via Ebten

The Japanese video game merchandise shop Ebten is pumping out some amazing SEGA-related merchandise at the moment. Added to that list recently are a series of Segata Sanshiro-themed merch (the Japanese mascot of the SEGA Saturn).

If you live in Japan you can now purchase a mug, a large banner and a t-shirt. Check the images below:
