Shining Ark is the next installment in SEGA’s long-running Shining RPG series. The game is due February 28th in Japan only and there’s no 11 minutes of gameplay to whet your whistle:
SEGA of Japan’s arcade-exclusive game Shining Force Cross Elysion has received a version C upgrade which means SEGA have decided to plug that with a new trailer. The game is a sort of LAN RPG made for multiplayer; check it out:
The Japanese webstore ebten has some other interesting pieces of exclusive merchandise for the SEGA fanatic amongst you.
As you can see above, there’s a Hang-On themed bicycle emblazoned with the game’s logo and painted in the game’s signature red. It is priced at a very affordable £144.10. The full listing for the product can be found here.
SEGA of Japan have teamed up with ebten to launch a range of SEGA NOTE PCs. The laptops are themed around 3 SEGA consoles with an additional SEGA-themed laptop. The 3 consoles are Mega Drive, Saturn and Dreamcast which you can see in the above image.
As the laptops are Japan exclusive they will probably be very expensive to import. Regardless, here’s the Japanese retail prices:
SEGA: 99,750 yen or £680.26 Mega Drive: 131,250 yen or £894.96 Saturn: 162,750 yen or £1,109.75 Dreamcast: 194,250 yen or £1,324.47
Famitsu have discovered a teaser website containing 3 images connected to SEGA showing fantasy landscape artwork with the date 02.12 plastered over them.
You can access the website by clicking here and see the images below:
Could SEGA be announcing a new game? The artwork doesn’t appear to be reminiscent of any current SEGA IP so this could be a completely brand new IP as well.
SEGA of Japan are running a 24 hour internet broadcast that discusses various games and franchises and will feature various members from the company, to be able to access this podcast we recommend using a VPN service like Cubik.
