Video Spotlight: Shining Force Cross Elysion Trailer

SEGA of Japan’s arcade-exclusive game Shining Force Cross Elysion has received a version C upgrade which means SEGA have decided to plug that with a new trailer. The game is a sort of LAN RPG made for multiplayer; check it out:

Arkedo Studio Officially Disbanded

Arkedo Studio, the team responsible for Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit have sadly shut their doors.

Bizarrely, the studio didn’t go bankrupt or into administration. Arkedo weren’t able to secure a project after finishing Hell Yeah! and decided to disband while they had money and were able to get “good conditions” for all their staff elsewhere.

Arkedo have also announced that they have 2 other unannounced games which are complete. These games will be the last from the studio and should be released “soon”.

New Dreamcast Game LEONA is Looking for Kickstarter Funding

LEONA’s Tricky Adventures is a new puzzle game with exploration elements in development for Dreamcast and Amiga.

The game is in development by KTX Software Dev. and the studio are using Kickstarter to fund the game. The studio are after £35,000 to secure development. You can check out a game trailer below:

Hell Yeah! Spinoff Game Coming to iOS Tonight

SEGA’s PC/PSN/XBLA title Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is getting a spin-off title called Hell Yeah! Pocket Inferno. The game is an iOS running game like Canabalt and features a total of 50 stages. The game launches sometime tonight.

Video Spotlight: Even More Footage of the Cancelled Aliens RPG

The cancelled Aliens RPG known as Aliens: Crucible that was under development by Obsidian Entertainment now has a 13 minute gameplay video to its’ name. The game was to be published by SEGA and was apparently “ready to ship” before SEGA mysteriously pulled the plug on the project.

Video Spotlight: New Footage of Obsidian’s Cancelled Aliens RPG

Once upon a time Obsidian (developers of Fallout: New Vegas and Knights of the Old Republic 2) were developing a Aliens RPG for SEGA. SEGA unfortunately pulled the plug on the project despite it being “ready to ship”.

Today, character artist Danny Garnett has revealed new footage from the game featuring various character animations. He’s also revealed the name of the game which would have been Aliens: Crucible. Check out the footage below:
